Our Alaska has been having such beautiful weather, we hope everyone is outside enjoying all of this sunshine. With the change of weather and school being out, please beware of kids! They are everywhere enjoying their summer days, and don’t always pay attention. Please be their eyes and ears. Allow for extra time driving through your neighborhood. With such pretty weather, it’s the perfect time to go out for a walk and meet some of your neighbors!
DOGS: Please remember that dogs are not allowed outside without a leash and owner that can control it. If you are walking in common areas with your dog, please pick up the waste. Homeowners receive violation letters for not picking up dog waste in their yards, and let’s not forget that it can kill the grass. Please always carry an extra bag. If there are problems with loose dogs, please contact animal control at 343-8119.
Monthly Inspections: Monthly inspections are conducted every month. If you see us out there, don’t hesitate to say hello or introduce yourself and ask any questions you may have. The first violation letter you receive will have a $15.00 processing fee. From there if the violation isn’t corrected you will receive fines starting at $25.00 in addition to the processing fee. The main things on the list are house rules violations.
Visible storage from the road. Dead bushes. Trash cans stored outside. Fences in need of repair/or paint/stain. Inoperable vehicles, boats, trailers, rv’s parked in the driveway. Alterations not approved by the Board. Parking in the grass. Just to name a few.
Don’t forget that if you plan to paint or make alterations, you NEED BOARD APPROVAL FIRST! To obtain approval, please fill out the request for Alteration form on the website and send in a drawing on the as build and any contracts from contractors. You must submit it via email at email@example.com I will email it to the Board and once it is approved, you will receive approval in writing. You will also need an idea of when work will start and be completed.
