Hermitage Park News July 2016

Please clean up after your four legged friends.

“U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirms pet waste can spread parasites including hookworms, ringworms, tapeworms and Salmonella. When infected dog poop comes into contact with your lawn, the poop will eventually “disappear”, but the parasite eggs can linger for years! When a human or animal comes into contact with that soil through everyday activities like walking barefoot, gardening or playing, they risk infection from those eggs ... even years after the poop is gone.”
There has been a buildup of dog waste at the park entrance, if this is from your dog, please remove it.

Storage Reminders

Please remember there is to be no outside storage of any kind, with the exception of lawn furniture and barbecues.

Garbage cans may only be outside after 5pm on Monday (pickup day is Tuesday) and must be properly stored, out of sight during the remainder of the week. There have been bears on the property thus proper trash storage is a safety issue.

If you are having difficulty with storing your larger refuse can properly, please contact Snow’s Management Inc. for them to arrange for a smaller one for your unit.

Recycling is easy effective and fun. Recycling can even save you money by reducing the amount of trash produced at your home. Start a recycle center at your home and drop off the items for free at:
