Fire Extinguishers- Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detectors

It has been recommended by the Anchorage Fire Department that each unit have a UL listed/FM approved Fire Extinguisher with a minimum rating of 2A:10B:C. It must be easily visible & accessible for use in the event of a fire. All fire extinguishers must be serviced & tagged annually by a qualified servicing contractor. In addition, all dwelling units must have at least one smoke detector & carbon monoxide detector in each unit. These detectors should be installed near each separate sleeping area. It is also recommended that your smoke / carbon monoxide detectors be checked every 30 days. Please remember to check / change the batteries in both.

FALL IS IN THE AIR:

Garbage cans must be put away, out of sight the same day the trash is picked up.  It is not acceptable to leave the trash cans in front of your garage doors or anywhere in front of the units.

Owners shall replace burned-out light bulbs in the light sensitive fixtures within 72 hours.  Owners are responsible to have these lights turned on from September 1st thru May 1st.

Owners are to close the air vents to their crawl space each September.

Hoses are to be removed from outside faucets every autumn prior to freezing, to prevent flooding and damage to each owner’s unit.
