Pet Regulations

It has been noted that there are several units, who appear to own dogs. Please remember that dogs are not allowed on the property. It clearly states in the Declarations “No animals, livestock or poultry shall be kept in any residence, except that domestic cats, fish, and birds in inside bird cages may be kept as household pets within the project, provided that they are not kept, bred, or raised therein for commercial purposes or in unreasonable quantities. As used in this Declaration, “unreasonable quantities” shall be deemed to limit the number of cats and birds to two (2) each.”
Homeowners
Please be aware if you rent out your unit that it is your responsibility to provide your tenants with a copy of the House Rules for College Square.
If you do not have a copy of the House Rules to provide to your tenants please call Snow’s Management at 563-8894 or email us at info@snowsalaska.com and a copy can be mailed or emailed to you.

Fire Safety and BBQ’s

It has been recommended by the Anchorage Fire Department, that each unit have a UL listed / FM approved fire extinguisher(s) with a minimum rating of 2A:10B:C. It must be easily visible & accessible for use in the event of a fire.  All fire extinguishers must be serviced & tagged annually by a qualified servicing contractor.  In addition, all dwelling units must have at least one smoke detector & carbon monoxide detector in each unit. These detectors should be installed near each separate sleeping area.  It is also recommended that your smoke / carbon monoxide detectors be checked every 30 days.  Please remember to check / change the batteries in both of these.

DUMPSTER WOES

It has come to the attention of the Board or Directors and Snow’s Management that there is a serious “trash” issue at College Square.
Items are often being left at the dumpster such as mattresses and box springs and items too large to fit in the dumpster.  When items such as this are left it causes an extra expense for the Association which in turn may cause our “dues” to increase.
Leaving unwanted large items at the dumpster may result in being billed for the service to come and pick up items.
Also, please make sure to break down boxes before throwing them away and to close the lids on the dumpsters when you are done using the receptacles.  We often have trash that is lying about on the ground when the lids remain open to the birds waiting for an easy meal.

Please haul away furniture/bed or call one of the many Anchorage thrift centers for pick up.
