On behalf of Snow’s Management, We would like to extend our apologies for the recent Board Meeting mishap. We will make every effort to avoid this in the future. There have been a lot of activities over the summer with old neighbors moving out and new ones moving into the neighborhood. We’ve also seen a lot of road activity as well. I hope you have been able to get some sleep with all the road construction. Snow’s Management and the Board of Directors would like to thank those neighbors who have been proactive in keeping the neighborhood safe due to the extra traffic directed through our neighborhood. The team at Snow’s Management and the Birch Run Board of Directors would like to first welcome all our new homeowners to the neighborhood. The Homeowners in the Birch Run subdivision take pride in their well-kept quaint neighborhood. Our goal is to maintain the value of the homes by enforcing the By-Laws. Snow’s Management is aware that some neighbors were in violation of the by-laws this past winter and is asking that we all abide by the rules that the Homeowners have agreed too, and expects to be enforced. Please plan head so that we all are in compliance with the By-Laws. As a reminder, below are some friendly reminders of infractions we have observed. Your immediate attention to these matters would be greatly appreciated. We want to work with you to maintain a great neighborhood. Recreational Vehicles: Parking of recreational vehicles on a Lot or street within the properties from November 30 through March 31 of each year is expressly prohibited.
Parking: Please do not park in front of the mail boxes; the mailman will not deliver the mail if vehicles are parked in front of them. Vehicles stored on properties is strictly prohibited and Parking in the cul de sac makes it very difficult for the snow plows in the winter please be mindful of this. Not to mention the MOA requires a permit when parking in the cul de sac.
Trash Can & Recreational Equipment: Please put your Trash cans in within 24hr. of pick up. Also any sports equipment such as Basketball hoops/ hockey goal and soccer nets should be stored away for the winter out of view from the street.
Safety Alert: It has been recommended by the Anchorage Fire Department that each unit have a UL listed/FM approved Fire Extinguisher with a minimum rating of 2A:10B:C. It must be easily visible & accessible for use in the event of a fire. All fire extinguishers must be serviced & tagged annually by a qualified servicing contractor. In addition, all dwelling units must have at least one smoke detector & carbon monoxide detector in each unit. These detectors should be installed near each separate sleeping area. It is also recommended that your smoke / carbon monoxide detectors be checked every 30 days. Please remember to check / change the batteries in both.
Halloween Alert: Please watch out for the trick or treaters. If you will be giving out candy make sure you have plenty of lights on and if you do not plan to participate make sure to turns lights off so that the kids know not to disturb.
